Increasing air traffic brings with it an increase in the frequency of bird and wildlife strikes. Programmes to reduce the risk need to be tailor-made for individual airports given the unique situation of each. We have long experience of advising airport managers in south China on cost-effective ways to reduce the risk based on a scientific approach to the problem.
